Weird Al Interviews Eminem

al.jpg

I found a great clip over at youtube of Weird Al interviewing Eminem... who knew they didn't have a beef between them anymore...?

There are also quite a few more weird al videos on the site, including "I lost on Jeopardy".

The clip requires macromedia flash... install it. Watch.

Clever DIY mosquito trap

I ran across a clever DIY mosquito trap... Well, not clever in the sense that they were able to macguyver some dish washing detergent, two toothpicks and half a coconut and trap mosquitos... but you know... clever.

It's also asian, so you know some smart little person was behind it. Can I say that?

Lists of bests - listsofbests.com

I'm always looking for lists of bests, for one reason or another. When I was first getting into blues music I tried to find the top blues albums by certain artists or by other artists I hadn't heard yet. Earlier this week I came across a site called List Of Bests , which is one of those sites that makes me slap my forehead after learning about it... It's an "I should've thought of that" situation.

Anyways, they've got some pretty good lists there. For example, Travel & Leisure's top 10 cities in the world and imdb.com's top 250 movies as voted by their users and for those with a science fiction reading habit The SF Book Club's The Most Significant SF & Fantasy Books of the Last 50 Years (1953-2002). Give 'em a look.

I'm listening to:
John Lee Hooker - Serves Me Right to Suffer

Dooce.com, the blog of hilariment

In my time off today I've been revisiting some of the sites I used to frequent when I had time to enjoy the internet. The site I've gotten the most pleasure from today is Dooce.com, a blog written by a young mother in Mormon country. It's witty, well-written, and I believe that her site led me to liquidweb if I remember correctly.

Anywho, it's a great site. Of the current entries, I came closest to losing control of my bladder while reading her post about her sister coming to pick up her beagle (her sister's beagle).

Voltron got served!

Click, watch, chuckle. Repeat.

Notice the parody of DMX's 'get it on the floor' in the background... Good stuff.

Oh, sweet irony. Justice Souter at risk of losing his own property?

I have to hand it to these people, they know how to make a point. I don't think there's any way that this will actually go through, but here's the deal...

A private developer contacted the local government in Supreme Court Justice David Souter's hometown in New Hampshire yesterday asking that the property of the judge – who voted in favor of a controversial decision allowing a city to take residents' homes for private development – be seized to make room for a new hotel.

I just enjoy the fact that someone took the time to tell the judge, on a personal (non-violent, non-threatening) level, that people are not happy about this decision.

New season of Family Guy

stewie.jpg

It's been a while since I've thought about the new season of Family Guy. After a quick search though, I realized that it will soon be upon us. Supposedly, the new episodes will air in the Spring, but that's coming from Fox... who aired, moved, rescheduled, then cancelled, then uncancelled The Family guy in the first place.

Anyways, I found comfort in looking around on the fox website and seeing some behind the scenes videos. It's not much, but it dulls the pain.

Stewie Revealed
Back in Production!

Fox also released a new DVD set, Family Guy: The Freakin Sweet Collection. It doesn't feature any new episodes, but does feature an uncensored version of Road to Rhode Island, and all kinds of extra features.

Thus quoth the Fox:

"While these episodes have been on DVD before, the extras on this disc are well worth the price tag. In addition to an uncensored version of Road to Rhode Island, we’ll get to hear commentaries from Brian and Stewie themselves, as well as new commentaries by Seth MacFarlane and various show producers and writers. You’ll also get an inside look at the new animated comedy, American Dad and hear Seth talk about the new season of Family Guy." (Original Site)

Lastly, check out Planet Family Guy. It's a great site for info on the series.

SGABAA

The SGABAA is the Society for Greater Awareness of Baby Animal Attacks. Personally, I think it's a great organization. Everyone should be aware that certain baby animals are extremely dangerous.

Visit their website to see the most dangerous animals, and survivor stories.
I submitted my own story, so hopefully my tragic story will be put up on their site, and the dangers of baby squirrels will be known to all.

Ebay Profit Guesstimator

After my adventure with selling the Nintendo DS's on Ebay, I decided to make a tool that would allow me to estimate the profit I could make with an item on Ebay. I call this tool the Ebay Profit Guesstimator.

You can find it at http://www.jojometal.com/ebay/ebayprofit.php.

Feel free to comment on it here. I welcome any suggestions or comments.
