A man serving a life sentence for murder was sentenced to three additional years in prison for passing out cheese sandwiches while in jail. The whole story (via fark).

I see that the inmate was accused of charging an officer, and I can see the extra disciplinary action needed for something like that (though I'd like to see that carried out inside the prison walls). They shocked him with a stun gun for passing out a sandwich though... I'd charge them too.
