Firefox 1.0 is out!

I can't believe I didn't think to post this sooner, but Mozilla Firefox's 1.0 release is now available for download!

It's sleek, shiny, and splendiforous.

Advantages over IE:

  • Smaller

  • Better Interface

  • Not a microsoft product

  • More Secure

  • Extensions- plugins that allow you to add great functionality

  • RSS feed integration

  • Integrated google search

  • Interface Themes

  • Tastes 80% better than IE

You should download it and give it a try. You might not be used to it at first, but trust me, it will grow on you. Install adblock, flashblock extensions, and bugmenot and you'll never want to go back to IE again.

I'm listening to:

Is it any different than Preview Release Version 1.0? Because that's what I've been using for a few months. Firefox is indeed the best.

No, not really. It's pretty much the same.

They fixed a few bugs, that's all.

I'm not sure if it was a problem with the release candidate I was using or what, but when I load pdf files now, there are less problems with lockups and such.

I also uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat, so that could be it. I just wanted to have the new version so I could worry about less bugs.
