Today, the Katester and I took a trip to the Lincoln Parish Library after eating dinner.
It's an old Albertson's building that was converted after the local Albertson's went belly up. It looks pretty big from the outside, but once you get in it's nice and cozy... lots of room for new books and such I suppose. They have a huge children's section, about 10 public computers with flat screen monitors and other perks of the normal library: books, audio books, movies on DVD and VHS, and a small selection of magazines.
Katie and I checked out some language audiobooks... she's gonna try to relearn some french, and I'm gonna try to get some Italian going. I doubt either one of us will stick with it, but it's free, and it's at least a possibility.
Looking at the magazine section, I remembered that I need to get the new issue of CPU (Computer Power User) Magazine. It has become my favorite magazine... I need to subscribe when I get some money.
