Julia Child

I came across this article by way of apostropher's blog.

Asked by a radio interviewer once what her ultimate meal would be, Child said: "Red meat and a bottle of gin."

Sounds like my kinda woman.

Actually, I need to look into her books, or maybe a few of her older shows. Maybe they'll reair some of them, or release them on DVD... who knows. I like experimenting with cooking, though things never seem to turn out right. There's still hope though, she was in her 30's when she learned to cook, and look at what she accomplished.
