There's nothing better than a good blues song... and personally, I don't think anyone sings the blues better than John Lee Hooker.
I just heard a live version of "Crawlin' King Snake" from Nov. 9, 1976 in Chicago. I can't imagine a song being more perfect. Nice bass guitar... matching John's voice, and an audience that's as excited to hear him as I am. It just doesn't get much better than that.
